What Makes a Fantastic Bookstore?

A fantastic local bookstore isn't just about selling books; it's about creating an inviting environment that encourages reading, exploration, and discovery. Here are some essential features to consider.

Truth and Encouragement

Our online bookstore is unique because we seek the Truth and encourage our readers to gain understanding about our current world situation. We seek knowledge from the Bible to answer questions that most readers are eagerly seeking. We are currently living in a world of constant lies and deception that are trying to control negative thinking and outcomes through hate and fear tactics.

We focus on Biblical principles to gain knowledge in our world of confusion. We are living in times that appose right from wrong and call good for evil and evil for good. Come delve into learning, growing through the source of true wisdom. Our world desperately needs wisdom in our currently world situation.

Diverse Selection of Books

The books available are, of course, the heart of any bookstore. A great bookstore should offer a diverse selection that caters to various interests, genres, and age groups. We have books for all readers, children, adults, military, veterans and current events.

Did you know that independent bookstores have reported a rise in the sales of local authors? According to a survey, 55% of customers prefer buying books from local authors because they feel it supports their community. This trend not only enriches the selection but also creates a sense of local pride.

Support for Local Authors, military and veteran owned business

Stephen Paul Campos is a service disabled veteran who served in combat with the 199th. Light Infantry Brigade in Vietnam during the most horrific times. Within the first two weeks his company engaged in a Friendly-Fire accident that killed two of his combat buddies and wounded his company commander. That experience eventually led him to a reunion with his two combat buddies in 2005 at the Vietnam War Memorial.

Truth, Honor and Duty

At our online bookstore we want our readers to understand that we are not so concerned about monetary returns. Our bookstore is all about finding truth through the author's own life experiences, his personal knowledge by trail and error and overcoming obstacles.

Conclusion: Why personal experience matters

Author Stephen Paul

Mr. Campos is a US Army Service Disabled Veteran. I was born and raised in Modesto, California. At the age of 19 in 1967 I enlisted in the US Army and was sent to fight in Vietnam with the 199th. Light Infantry.  Along with many other Vietnam veterans I returned from that war with Post- Traumatic Stress Disorder, unable to integrate fully back into society. Amidst a generation of war protesters, conscientious objectors, hippies, a revolution of new music and free rights many Vietnam veterans turned to drugs and alcohol to fit into society. I was one of them. I was addicted to drugs, alcohol and the American Dream and was unable to handle my emotions. I went through relationship after relationship, job after job unable to find my life.

But, in 1982, on the verge of in-sanity and suicide I had a spiritual awakening and was able to TURN my life around. I spent the next fifteen years serving in recovery programs. This is my THIRD book. His first is titled ‘Charlie Doesn’t Live Here Anymore”. He is now involved in helping our new veterans who need help with PTSD, alcohol or substance abuse issues. He is an author, motivational speaker and life coach. Mr. Campos lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
